1991 - Ulrich Dietz takes over 100 percent of the partnership shares.
GRIT receives the International Prize for Graphical Data Processing. The GFT logo with the blue square appears for the first time - the starting point for steady brand-name development and a consistent corporate identity.
1990 - GFT introduces the first self-developed product, GRIT, to the market: an object-oriented development environment that can be used to create graphical user interfaces. Object-oriented programming, at that time still not well known, is the dominant method of software development today.
1988 - GFT is one of the first European companies to order from AT&T a compiler for the object-oriented development language C++. Today this language is the standard for object-oriented software development.
1987- Ulrich Dietz, together with a partner, founds the GFT Gesellschaft für Technologietransfer. The business idea: To develop innovative software solutions with easy-to-use graphical interfaces.
