1998 - Growth continues, with branches in Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main. These branches have the task of developing the strategic fields of banking and insurance.
The dynamics of development make demands. The former Investment Banker Dr. Markus Kerber joins the GFT management crew as head of the financial department. Three months later Dr. Erwin Haller also joins. As head of the GFT Technologies Group he is responsible for the continiuty of technological competence of the company .
Shortly before the end of the year, GFT acquires two majority interests. PIXEL-FACTORY from Offenbach am Main strengthens the company's competence in digital media and screen design. GFT Systems from Ilmenau, a partner of many years from the technology and systems integration environment climbs into the boat.
1997 - In corporate policy, GFT goes on the offensive in distribution and customer proximity, opening branches in Dortmund and Munich.
With the takeover of the Zurich Java and e-commerce specialist Object Solutions, GFT prepares for the expected run on demand for Internet trading solutions.
