1999 - In anticipation of official listing on the stock exchange, GFT changes the company name to GFT Technologies AG and introduces the trade mark www.internetprofi.com. On 28 June the first official quotation appears on the Neue Markt of the Frankfurt securities exchange. Initial price: 23 Euro.
A special sign of faith in the future of GFT AG: Deutsche Post AG acquires a 16 percent interest in the company and guarantees the e-commerce specialist an order volume of at least 70 million DM by the year 2001.
GFT acquires an interest in the American new-media agency Plumb Design Inc. and shortly thereafter a majority interest in ACS Systemberatung GmbH, Hamburg. The first steps towards dot.com business are taken. Concepts are worked out for operating, together with partners, an Internet insurance and a European city portal. At the end of an extremely successful decade, GFT founds the subsidiary GFT Websolutions Kft seated in Budapest, Hungary.
