2004 - The concentration on core competences gains in importance. This is why the GFT Group disposed of 71 % of its shares in GFT Systems GmbH to the existing management of the company. GFT AG continues to hold 10 % of the shares. Being long-term partners, the two companies will continue to work in close collaboration.

2003 - With the implementation of the new consulting product smartblox™
GFT treads new ground in IT consulting. The set of modular units combine the flexibility of individual solutions with the efficiency advantages of reusable standard software; the client benefits from lower project runtime and lower project costs.
In Berlin, the media competence of the GFT Group is pooled under the new brand name GFT Media to realize innovative and creative solutions for clients in the media, advertising and consumer goods industries.
With the 100% take-over of the Indian software company eQuadriga the tried and tested GFT Group's onsite/nearshore concept is extended to enable offshore production.

2002 - The integration of GFT and the former Deutsche Bank subsidiary emagine progresses successfully. Together we meet the increased expectations in respect of the Return on Investment of IT investments as our projects are realised cross national now. The Software development in our development centres in Hungary and Spain gives us the opportunity to profit from location-based cost advantages without abandoning our customary quality benchmark.
GFT has to react to the increasing price pressure in the IT service sector and the economic crisis. The company will be adapted to market environment by a comprehensive cost saving program.
